It is an action role-playing game developed and published by miHoYo.This game features an open-world environment and battle system using elemental magic and character switching. It uses gacha game monetization for players to obtain new weapons, characters, and other items. The genshin impact game can only be played online and the multiplayer mode is limited allowing only up to four players to play in a world.The game was released for Microsoft Windows, Playstation 4, Android, and ios in 2020 and for PlayStation 5 in 2021. The Genshin impact’s main inspiration came from the game Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild.

 

The game takes place in a fantasy world named Teyvat. Teyvat is home to seven distinct nations, which are tied to an element and ruled by a god associated with it. The story is about a twin named as traveller who traveled all around them with their twin but got separated.The traveller traveled across the world in search of the lost sibling with their companion Paimon and became involved in the affairs of the other nations, gods, and the world to unravel the mysteries that teyvat holds.

The game is made available in many languages such as Chinese, English, French, German, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese, Russian, Spanish – Spain, Spanish, Thai, Vietnamese, etc and has audio available in chinese, english, japanese and Korean.

Gameplay:

The game allows the players to control one of the four characters in a party and can also switch the characters quickly during combat allowing the players to use combinations of skills and attacks. Each character in the game has two combat skills: a normal skills and special skill. The normal skill can be used at any time except for the cooldown period immediately after use, while the special skill has an energy cost, requiring the user to amass sufficient elemental energy first. There are seven natural elements such as Cryo, Dendro, Pyro, Hydro, Anemo, Electro, and Geo and players can have control over one of them.

Cooking is another aspect of the gameplay in which some dishes regenerate the character’s health, while others boost attack or defensive abilities. Food and ore can be procured from the open world. The ore can be refined and then used to enhance weapon strength or create weapons.

Players can obtain food from hunting animals, gathering fruit and vegetables, or purchasing them from a store.

 

Players can also attempt various challenges to win rewards. Completing these challenges grants the player progress towards increasing their Adventure Rank, which in turn unlocks new quests and challenges to raise the World Level. The world level is the measure of how strong the enemies in the world are and tells about the rewards you will get after defeating them.

The player can run, jump, swim and glide based on strength. Some characters even possess the abilities that can change the environment like freezing water to create the path. Many teleportation nodes exist throughout the world that players can warp to and the statues are known as the “Statues of The Seven” can heal and revive characters and provide benefits such as increasing player stamina.

Story:

The Genshin Impact takes place in the World of Teyvat composed of seven nations named Mondstadt, Liyue, Inazuma, Sumeru, Fontaine, Nathan, and Snezhnaya, which are tied to an element and ruled by a god associated with it.

The floating island of Celestia is home to gods and mortals who have ascended to godhood through great, heroic feats. Underground lay the ruins of the nation of Khaenri’ah which was destroyed by gods 500 years before the events of the game and the nation is not ruled by one of the god.

Each nation is associated with the worship of one of the seven gods known as archons and the god who is archon may change over time because over time the archons pass away.

The pair of twins travel around the world and visits the nation of teyvat, where they get separated by an unknown god.500 years later the sealed twins awake and meet paimon. Paimon and the Traveler arrive at Mondstadt and encounter a Dragon named Stormteror which attacks the city. Later traveler help Knights restore the order in the region and comes up with a plan to stop the storm terror. Venti requests for them to retrieve a holy lyre so that he may play it to the dragon in order to calm him.But soon realizes that the dragon is being manipulated by the Abyss Order. The Traveler, accompanied by Jean, Diluc, and Venti, pursue the dragon to his domain and free him from the Abyss Order’s influence. Returning to Mondstadt, Venti is ambushed by the Fatui Harbinger La Signora, who steals his Gnosis. Continuing their search, Venti advises the Traveler to travel to Liyue next to meet Rex Lapis, the Geo Archon. However, during a ritual, Rex Lapis is apparently killed, and his body is hidden.

Back in Mondstadt, the Traveler meets a mysterious individual named Dainsleif and together they investigate a plot by the Abyss Order to create an artificial god to topple Celestia.

While investigating, the Traveler reunites with their sibling who is the leader of the Abyss Order. The sibling reveals that Dainsleif was a guard of Khaenri’ah, and failed its people when the nation fell 500 years ago.

Remarking that the Traveler will come to understand the true nature of the world at the end of their journey, the sibling departs, and Dainsleif chases after them. The Traveler attempts to follow but is unable to, and resolves to continue their journey, setting their sights on Inazuma.

Noctilucous jade location:

It is one of the rarely found items in the game located within the Liyue nation, near the mountain terrain inside the cave and mines. It is sold by the Shitou and is not used in any recipes. Noctilucent jade was used for certain characters’ like Beidou and Yanfei for Ascension.

Noctilucent Jade is a rare mineral that can be found in Genshin Impac and it really glimmers in the dark. It is also said that the material is a mutated  gemstone that is condensed from the flourishing elements of the world.

 

 

There are three locations where you can go to get this rare luminous mineral.

 

Noctilucous Location 1:In Caves

The mineral can be found in any cave in the Liyue, Southwestern side of the world from Mondstadt. The best place to get Noctilucous Jade is in a secret cave which is close to the Hidden Palace of Lianshan Formula. To get the jade you must open the cave. To open the secret cave you must break the rocks by attacking it. Once opened the cave the player must also defeat the Giant Geo Slime. Break those rocks using the two-handed swords and grab the noctilucent jade.

 

 

 

Noctilucous Location 2: In Mingyun Village

This village is located just east of Wangshu Inn in the shadows of Dragonspire. After arriving at the village start looking for blue-colored shimmering ores which is the mineral you are looking for.

 

Noctilucous Location 3: From Shitou

You can also purchase the noctilucent jade from the shitou, which is an NPC found in Liyue Harbor, north of the Teleport Waypoint. He sells ores at the Jade Mystery. He keeps five stocked and each will set you back 1,000 Mora. And the nodes and the stores will refresh every two-to-three real-world days.
